Our systems at a glance

Four families make up our systems. Each solves a different problem at the door, and many projects combine two or three of them in one entrance zone.

• Aluminum entrance matting: 6063-T6 aluminum frames with interchangeable inserts of carpet, rubber or brushes, R13 slip resistance and Bfl-s1 fire rating.
• Spaghetti mats: PVC coil, loop and noodle mats with an open structure that traps dirt and water.

Aluminum entrance matting

Of all our systems, aluminum is the architectural choice. The frame is made of 6063-T6 aluminum, a hardened alloy that supports heavy footfall, trolleys and delivery equipment. Inserts of premium carpet, heavy-duty rubber or brushes can be combined in one mat, so the same system scrapes, brushes and absorbs. The mat can be recessed into a floor well or placed on the surface with ramped edges, and flexible hinges let it roll back for cleaning of the recess below. Spaghetti mats

Among our systems, spaghetti mats are the most open. Thick PVC coils form a loose surface that lets sand, grit and water fall below the walking surface. The mat is light, easy to lift, easy to rinse and quick to dry, which is why it is popular at the doors of shops, schools, clinics and public buildings. Logos can be added at no extra charge, and the mats can be cut to any size.

Soft PVC logo mats

Our soft PVC logo mats are designed for the inside of the building. The plush nylon surface absorbs moisture and fine dust, and the high-definition print reproduces fine lines and corporate colours. An anti-slip backing keeps the mat flat. Use this system in lobbies, reception areas, showrooms and corridors, behind a scraper mat that removes the coarse dirt first.

Heavy duty tire pattern PVC mats

The tire pattern is the toughest of our systems at the outdoor door. Deep channels and an aggressive texture scrape heavy dirt and debris from shoes and wheels, and release it quickly when the mat is cleaned. It is a strong choice for warehouses, workshops, car dealerships, schools and outdoor entrances, and it can still carry a bold logo.

Start with the door. An outdoor door needs a scraper, a vestibule needs a brush or a coil mat, and a lobby needs an absorbent, attractive surface. Then consider traffic: a quiet office, a busy store or a hospital with trolleys and wheelchairs. Finally, consider the look. Planning an entrance with our systems

A good entrance has three zones. The first zone is outside, where a tough scraper removes sand, mud and stones. The second zone is the vestibule, where brushes and coils remove the finer dirt and moisture. The third zone is the lobby, where a soft, absorbent surface dries shoes and presents your logo. Our systems are designed to work together across these zones. For example, heavy duty tire pattern PVC mats outside, an aluminum mat with brush and carpet inserts in the vestibule, and a plush soft PVC logo mat in the lobby make a complete, elegant, easy-to-clean entrance.

The total length of the zones matters. As a guide, five or six steps of matting remove most of the dirt carried by visitors. If the space is short, choose the system with the strongest cleaning action for that area and add an extra mat at the next door. Installation and care of our systems

Most mats in our systems are loose-laid and need no tools. Recessed aluminum mats are installed in a prepared well, and we provide dimensions and drawings for your contractor. After installation, care is simple: vacuum carpet and plush surfaces, rinse rubber, coil and tire pattern mats, and lift aluminum mats from time to time to clean the recess beneath. Regular cleaning keeps the surface open, the logo sharp and the entrance safe.

If a mat is damaged or a logo changes, we keep your artwork on file, so replacements and updates are quick. Aluminum inserts can be replaced individually, which lowers the lifetime cost of the system.

Quality and warranty

Our systems are made under a quality system certified to ISO 9001:2015, and our materials comply with REACH. Every product carries a three-year warranty. Sizes, colours and logos across our systems

Every one of our systems is made to order. Aluminum mats are built to the dimensions of your recess or doorway. Spaghetti mats, soft PVC logo mats and tire pattern mats are cut to size, from a small counter mat to a long corridor runner, and they can be shaped to follow a logo, an arch or an unusual entrance. Colours are matched to your brand reference, and you can choose a base colour that hides dirt or one that makes a pale logo stand out. Because there is no extra charge for the logo, even a small order carries the full brand.

We recommend sending the width and length of each area in centimetres, a photo of the door, and your logo as a vector file. With these three items, our designers prepare a mockup of the mat on your own entrance, and you can compare more than one system before you decide. Our systems then move to production, and the finished mats are delivered with the quote that you approved.

For large programmes, such as a hotel group, a bank or a retail chain, we standardise the artwork and the sizes for each type of entrance, so every location receives the same quality and the same brand. Replacement mats are produced from the same files, which keeps the entrances consistent over many years.
